Serving Tyrone and adjoining communities through
Saint Matthew Catholic Church, since 2001.
The St. Matthew Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis through the support and help of the Saint Matthew parish family.
This aid may take the form of intervention, consultation, or often through direct dollar or in-kind service. An essential precept of the Society's work is to provide help while conscientiously maintaining the confidentiality and dignity of those whom we serve while recognizing it must also assume a role of advocacy for those who are defenseless or voiceless.
Volunteers are able to select areas to contribute that fits individual schedules and areas of strength, as well as help to learn or improve skills.
We welcome volunteers to join our group and experience the joy in helping others overcome challenging times in their lives.
