The National Eucharistic Revival is a three-year national movement called by the bishops of the United States to rekindle the fire of our eucharistic faith and to begin a new chapter of evangelization grounded in renewed eucharistic devotion, life and service.
Mission: To renew the Church by enkindling a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
Vision: A movement of Catholics across the United States, healed, converted, formed, and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist and sent out in mission “for the life of the world.”
At the closing Mass for the 25th Eucharistic Congress, Archbishop Gregory J. Hartmayer commissioned Eucharistic Revival Missionaries for the parishes. These missionaries will act as liaisons between their parish and the wider Archdiocesan and National Eucharistic Revival efforts as a spark to prepare and ignite their individual parishes in Eucharistic devotion.

Additionally, Archbishop Hartmayer, in his closing remarks at the Eucharistic Congress, challenged all of us “to renew the priority of Sunday Mass and Sunday as the Day of the Lord in your families and households. If you can attend Mass more frequently during the week, do so. Set aside time for prayer each day. Where possible spend some time each week in adoration of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. And make regular confession a habit for you and your family. In these next several weeks and months, please pray that this Revival bear fruit for the Lord’s Church here in this archdiocese and across the country.”
